Here's what information we collect while you use Serendip, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We kept it short.

What we don't collect: we don't track your location continuously, don't read your contacts, and don't follow what you do in other apps.
Three reasons: to provide the service (the app doesn't work without an account), to prevent abuse (fake accounts, harassment), and for optional features you explicitly consent to.
You can withdraw consent-based permissions at any time from Settings. When you do, the related data is deleted.
Our servers are in Germany, so your information is processed outside Türkiye. We ask for your separate consent for this during signup.
The servers are used only to run the app. We don't sell your data for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing.
Push notifications go through Apple's and Google's notification services. Notifications never contain message content — only an alert like "you have a new message".

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, in one tap. Your data is permanently removed.

Send a request from Settings → My Privacy Rights in the app. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
If you find our answer inadequate or don't hear back in time, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.
If we update this page, we'll let you know in the app. For significant changes we'll ask for your consent again.
What you need to follow while using Serendip, and what you can expect from us.
You must be over 18. We check your age from your date of birth. If we find out you gave a false age, your account is closed.
Use your real information. You can't use someone else's photo, name or identity. You can't transfer or sell your account.
Keeping your password safe is your responsibility. If you notice anything suspicious, write to us.
Optional. You can use the app without it — you just won't get the verified badge.
Verification is a signal that the other person is a real human; it's not an identity guarantee. Stay careful anyway.
We may close accounts doing these without warning.
If someone bothers you, report them from the chat screen. We review reports and close accounts where needed.
Chats subject to a report are kept for 90 days for review.
You get 10 free searches every week. When they run out, you can use your balance to start a search.
Your balance is used to start searches in Serendip; it can't be withdrawn as cash or transferred to another account. Searches that end without a match are refunded to your balance.
Serendip introduces people, but we're not responsible for how they behave. Look after your own safety: meet in public places first, tell someone where you're going.
The app may have outages or bugs. We do our best but can't promise uninterrupted service.
You can delete your account any time from Settings. We may also close it if you break these terms.
If these terms change, we'll let you know in the app. Turkish law applies to any disputes.
